How Antidote Mental Health Care Works

Start your visit online or through our user-friendly app. We’ll take you through some mental health assessments to gather the information your board-certified doctor will need to help. Then, in as little as 24 hours, your video call begins. Your doctor will provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan, and they will also prescribe and guide your medication treatment as needed.

We currently do not offer counseling or psychotherapy, but our doctors are here to support you through your treatment journey. We also do not prescribe any controlled substances, such as stimulants and sedatives.

Introducing EEBC:
The Gold Standard of Mental Health

If you have high blood pressure or diabetes, you can see how different medications affect your condition with a simple measurement or blood test. If the numbers go down, then treatment is successful, and if they don’t, adjustments are made. But mental health status can’t be measured with a blood test or a scan. For many years, there was simply no reliable way to track patients’ progress. That all changed with Enhanced Evidence-Based Care (EEBC).

By answering a set of scientifically-validated questionnaires both before your first appointment and throughout your treatment process, we can measure your progress and know that we are providing the best treatment possible. Clinical research has repeatedly found the EEBC method to be up to twice as effective as usual care. Every board-certified mental health doctor you will see through Antidote uses this EEBC method.
